Video Card Upgrade for Render Speed?

I have an early 2008 Mac Pro, dual quad 2.8 w 10gb ram and NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT with 512 MB of GDDR3. If I were to upgrade my video card would my Red renders go faster (inside or outside FCP7)?

Seems like you have a pretty solid machine here. What are you looking at for render times? I don't think a new graphics card is going to help much.
