transitions are not full screen in HD

In Boris Red(Avid FX) any transition I choose from the library is cropped to the center(the crop is not on) instead of being full screen, this only happens in HD projects. It is even in the preview window cropped. SOrry I don't have a version number for you since it's part of avid but I do have the most current version of Avid Newscutter. Is there a setting I need to change?

Amanda,
I'm assuming you are using this stand alone?
Once you apply the transition from the library go to the edit menu and choose Project Settings.
Change the Project setting to the desired aspect ratio.
Another way to do this is to use th einsert function on the Library screen. If you do this you will have to delete your original tracks but it will maintain your project settings.
