Hi,

When the text appears in the little window, you need to select the text and then set the new color. If you don't select the text nothing will change. This is what is happening on your system.

I hope this helps.

Peter.

Thanks for the reply Peter.Select the text how ? Just with the cursor?
This is what i am doing....
I press ctrl 7 to bring up the style palette
I then double click on a text style, and it appears in the window, the style has the red cursor around it .
I select a colour.
I then click apply on the library browser window and all the windows close.
The result is the text has not changed from the default.
Any ideas ?

Hi,

Glad you were able to figure that out - you see, the text has to be selected manually in the text generator window to enable the option of applying different colors to characters within the same word, or group of characters.

The software is indeed a little complicated at the beginning, however, once you understand the basic principles behind the user interface you'll find that you can fly with it, making animated title generation a breeze.

Cheers,

Peter.
