effects on individual cuts

Hi I have used soundtrack very little, and now I have to create some audio podcasts with multiple voices in the same track.

I used the razor to cut the voices and layered them on different tracks wanting to apply different effects for different voices.

But when i apply an effect it effects every track.

I7m sure there is a simple way to do what I want to do. Please let me know if you know it!!

Hi Andre, thanks for getting back to me.

I don't quite understand what you are referring too when you say channel? When i select the clip i have cut out and apply a filter it goes ahead and applies it to the entire clip! which is every voice I recorded!!!

But I want to be able to go through clip by clip and effect them individually. is that possible?
