Soundtrack Pro Help...

Hey, all. I'm a newbie at Soundtrack Pro. I'm editing a piece, currently, and I have recorded a good voice over track. However, I'm wanting to take this to the next level and give the voice over a stronger presence. Forgive my lack of knowing how to say what I want to say, but for lack of a better audio vocab -- I want the sound big... beefy... clear... strong.
Would any of you pro's out there be able to either guide me to a tutorial, or just help a new guy along...
I understand this can't be learned overnight... just looking for some tips!

Here's my recommendation:
1. Make a new Bus (it's under the "Multitrack" menu)
2. Go to the channel that the voiceover is on and assign it to both the original bus (1&2?) AND the new bus (3&4, maybe?).
3. Put a compressor on the new bus and dial in the settings so that, on average, it is compressing the signal around 3-6dB.
4. Bring up the new bus's fader and adjust the blend to taste.
You might also want to add en EQ onto the bus and play around with it to see what changing certain numbers actually does. I would suggest some small (3dB) boosts at/around 400Hz-800Hz, 1000Hz, and 6,000Hz-8,000Hz.
Experiment and remember: if it sounds good, it is good.
