 | Purchasing a Blue ray burner ...recommendations?

I'm slowly but surely building our motion graphics and animation services at the agency I currently work for.
I hit a real wall last week when a client wanted us to provide them with a DVD for their corporate headquarters lobby. It's extremely high-vis for us, and now we're looking to purchase a blue ray burner.
I have one shot here to provide our purchasing agent with some specs-direction, otherwise he's going to pick based on price alone.
I'm working on a MacPro 2010 tower, and the decision to go with an internal burner vs. and external burner is still on the table.
The only limitations I can see are the available external ports on this tower... Firewire 800 and USB 2.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
