audio continue from opener to menu

im making a dvd of a music performance night for a school. it starts with the school logo and the logo of the night fades in. as soon as it fades in, it changes to the menu which is the exact same logo except with the play button. i want a song to go from the very start of the opener and continue on playing once it has changed to the menu. can someone plz tell me how to do this? thanks

Combine the opener and main menu into a single video that is the length of the song (or however long you want the song to last) using Premiere, After Effects, etc. Import into Encore and set as the motion background for your menu, then set the "Loop Point" to right after the opener. The button highlights will not appear until after the loop point, and when the menu finishes, it will not go back to the beginning of the opener, but at the start of the loop point.
