Really New to Encore
by Doug Orr on Aug 30, 2009 at 2:52:14 pm

I'm really new to working with Encore. I created a simple project with Final Cut exported it to a movie and used that as an asset it Encore. Tried burning a simple first play Blue-ray from that and burned it to a Blue-ray disc. I can see the file structure on the Blue-ray but putting it in a set top Blue-ray player shows Disc Error. Is there something obivious I'm missing? Thanks for your help.

What brand of BD player? Some manufacturers (like Samsung) have deliberately crippled their players so that only BDs with full AACS copy protection can be played. No homemade BDs allowed.

Try on different players, preferably at least one hardware and one software player.
