Transcoding 16g file truncates video
by Hugh Macdonald on Aug 20, 2009 at 5:46:27 am

File in timeline is one DV compression avi file that plays fine with Windows Media Player. It is 1 hour and 15 minutes (16 gig).
ENCORE transcodes it (I'm using 5.5 mb) but unexpectedly finishes quickly by stopping encoding video after a few minutes and then doing the whole 1hr15 of audio.

No error messages.

Any ideas?

Very odd. I have experienced the same issue with motion menus, but never with a main video. The method I use to get around it is to create an after effects composition with your video in it, then import the composition using the dynamic link feature. This allows it to render completely. If you have after effects, I would try it.
