SD Material on Blu-ray

	SD Material on Blu-ray by Andrew Golden on Jul 31, 2009 at 1:19:40 pm Has anyone had any experience incorporating SD material on a Blu-ray disk. I know the format allows for it but I haven't been able to find much on the process for actually putting SD content on a Blu-ray without upconverting the SD to HD first and taking up more space and bandwidth than the SD material needs. 	Re: SD Material on Blu-ray by Jon Geddes on Jul 31, 2009 at 8:03:39 pm Yes, I have had experience mixing SD and HD content on a Blu-ray disc authored in Encore. SD content was already transcoded to MPEG2 DVD, and HD content was transcoded to h264. Encore will not re-transcode SD mpeg2 files.
