CF card trouble with a AJA Ki Pro Mini/ Sound devices 240.

Whenever I plug my in one of my SanDisk Extreme 90MB/s Compact flash cards into my Aja Ki-Pro Mini it will only recognize my the card as unformatted media. When I try to format those cards I get stuck at the formatting window. I am looking for a driver or utility to restore my CF cards.

Notes: This is not happening with all of my CF cards, only a few. The only compact flash cards that are being effected by this were used in a sound devices were used in a Sound Devices Pix 240. I can see media that still remains on the cards when I use a reader on my MacBook.

Any and all help or suggestions is welcomed.

The Ki Pro Mini uses the format Mac OS Extended (HFS+) on CF cards. Use a USB Connected CF card reader to a Mac. Use Disc Utility to format the CF card and then insert into the Ki Pro Mini and let the device re-format again. That should solve it.

This seems to have solved my problem! I can now get the Aja to read my 64 gig cards again. That will most certainly save me a chunk of change!
