Has anyone heard of a release date for the updated Transfer Tool for Mac?

Rumor mill has the update tied to the release of the XDCAM EX, which is sometime in November.

Can't wait!!! Upgraded to Leopard and now I can not rename the disc or see the disc on the desktop. The Transfer tool still sees it and can transfer the clips, so that is good....

Well hopefully you made a clone of your previous system on another HD containing Tiger 10.4.10 and and all your apps. That way you can reboot with the clone and keep working like nothing happened. Otherwise, depending on how important your project is, you may have to drag out your Tiger install discs one more time :)

But since you can still transfer and edit it shouldn't be too much of an imposition about the clip/disc naming.

Luckily we only did the upgrade to 2 of our 4 Desktops (to see what problems we would run into). I can still at least import the clips and edit. I just can't mess with the disc until the software update.
