Missing X, Y animation channels
by Phil Lowe on Nov 1, 2009 at 9:12:57 pm

Recently, I had a problem with all animation channels missing in timeline view. I got those back (turned out properties was deselected) but now I can't keyframe the x & y channels in timeline view. Any reason as to why this might be happening?

Link to screen shot below.

Thanks guys.

Should probably mention that hitting the "Add Key" button does not add keyframes to these channels. Keyframes are active on these channels, animation is active, but there is "no joy" when it comes to actually getting keyframes on them.

I figured out the problem: "Use Speed Channel by default" was selected in preferences. Not sure why that option even exists, but turning it off gave me back my independent x,y animation keyframe controls on the timeline.
