crosshairs effect

Hello,
Does anyone know of a tutorial for creating an animted crosshair effect in combustion? For exampple, like one scanning over a map.

Please let me know.

I would create the crosshairs on a Paint layer (two 'lines'), then group them so they are one unit and animate the group.
