I have Combustion 4 installed on a PPC Mac and want to upgrade to Combustion 2008 on a newer Intel Mac. Do I have to re-install C4 in the newer Mac to then upgrade? And will my C4 install on a newer Intel Mac? Just don't want to buy the upgrade and get stuck.

combustion doesn't support/work well on mac os 10.5 - if you really want to use combustion on a new mac, you'll have to use Boot Camp and run Combustion in Windows. Its really fast on the Mac Pro hardware, though.

Thanks. But will my current C4 disk install on an Intel to at least get me started? When I purchase the upgrade I should then buy the Windows version to run with boot camp?
