I have some footages taken with Sony Z1 (HD 50i). I captured it with Adobe Premiere Pro CS 3, with HD resolution. but I have several problems when doing color correction with Combustion 4. The 1440x1080 resolution is to big, so my PC won't work faster (my PC is using AMD Athlon 64 3GHz and 1GB of memory, with windows vista OS).
So I decided to reduce the Adobe Premiere's output resolution to widescreen-DV PAL (720x576). And then I do color correction to those DV resolution-output, with Combustion 4. And, my PC works great at that resolution.
But, now I have new problem. the Combustion render output can't be set to widescreen-DV PAL resolution, though I'm using DV Anamorphic (16:9) composite setting. So, when I import the DV PAL output from Combustion (pixel aspect ratio is 1,067) to Adobe Premiere (with DV PAL widescreen project), I have to 'conform' it to DV PAL widescreen resolution (1,42).
So, does anyone know how to set the combustion render output, so it can produce DV PAL widescreen aspect ratio (1,42)?
And, by changing the footages resolution, from HD to DV PAL, and then do color correction, will I get some 'reduced' quality footages?
Thanks.
