image sequences in C 2008
by ron norris (Ron Norris) on Jul 15, 2008 at 6:11:09 pm

Hi all, been around a long time, just not posting. I do have a question today however. I have 9 terribly long still image sequences that I need to import into combustion (1000+ frames each). How can I import them so they line up correctly on the timeline so they play sequencially? I can only import them where they stack on top of each other and then manually move each frame to the correct placement on the timeline. that's a ton of work.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ron

Duh... nevermind. I always deal with footage and not image sequences so it took me a minute to realize that I collapse the sequence then import it... duh.

i think EDIT operator is good for you in this case..
Just open any seq, then apply EDIT and import other seq, at same layer..so easy.
Then u retime composite duration for new total duration of the result of collecting the seq,

Best regards
