Change hotkey for Clone Source?

I love my Shuttle Pro and zipping through frames with the jog wheel. I've set up a number of buttons in Combustion, but the one I most want is clone source. The default is the Alt key, and because it's a modifier I can't assign it to a button. I looked through the *.key files but did not find "Clone Source" anywhere. Can it be changed? Is there some way to "fool" the Shuttle software to send an "alt" keypress? I hate constantly moving from the Shuttle to the keyboard. Please help, thanks!

Following up on my own post:
Another reason to change the Clone Source hotkey: Because the Alt modifier is used in every Windows menu hotkey. So if I hold down the Alt key too long, the "File" menu is selected waiting for a second keypress to select an item or a different menu.
I'm doing dustbusting and drop-out removal, and I select a different clone source as often as I do a brush stroke. I really wish I could change the hotkey to one that didn't have an important OS function and put it on my Shuttle Pro - or the barrel switch of my Wacom.

It's a good suggestion, but won't work for my project. I'm loading in minutes of SD video, viewing each frame and clone-painting from the previous or next frame to the current one. Both the frame and the clone source are constantly changing.

Looks like there is no way to change the hotkey for Clone Source. OK. Is there a way to make my Shuttle Pro send an ALT key-press alone, i.e. NOT as a modifier?
