Why don't the latest and earlier version of Combustion(2008) support 64-Bit vista?

I am working on a animation project(paint/flash) and I thought the would not be any problem to use combustion (I am still on comb 3.04) on a 64 bit OS. I got the upgrade pc as part of my fee as I said the work flow would be smoother and faster, more ram etc.

Is there any way I can work this around or do I have to reinstall to xp32 bit again and not be able to use my sexy 8gb ram? If there are any solution/ upgrade coming in the near future (any version of Combustion) please let me know.

Any suggestions for another software like the paint (with sound) in Combustion is also very welcome.

Combustion will install and run fine on 64bit OS, but will only use up to 4gb of ram. Combustion as well as AE are 32bit only applications and are limited to 32bit address space which is a maximum of 4gb per application.
