I emailed the sales email at Autodesk M & E to find out where the upgrade can be purchased. It's been several days now with no reply. Anyone know? The full version is for sale online but no upgrade that I've found.

Your best bet is to contact your local reseller. In my experience you will get a better price from a reseller.

If you want to upgrade through Autodesk I found the sites by searching their store for "Combustion Upgrade" here is the link for Combustion 3 Upgrade and Combustion 4 Upgrade, apprently both are $199, not sure if that is a typo or what.

I really wished I could just edit posts here. Anyways anyone else looking for quick links to buy from the Autodesk Store or reseller, should try this http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=5679498>link it has all purchase options and ability to search for resellers all on one page.

[Eric Craft] "I really wished I could just edit posts here."

You can edit posts here, Eric. There are actually two ways to do it.

1.) We have a "preview" button that allows you to test your posts before you add them. This option gives you a way to do editing BEFORE adding the posts to the board.

2.) If you have already added a post to the board, then our mechanism will give you a link that will remain live for either 30 minutes or until someone responds to your post (their response locks it). When you make a post, the link will appear as seen here in this graphic...

You will find it just below your sign off name area and the post rating box with the COW rating buttons.

We send out these instructions from time to time in the COW Newsletter but not everyone gets it. So some people don't really know all of what's available to them here at the COW.

Thanks for the info Ron, I guess I didn't even look for the edit post, because I usually return after 30 min so I have never seen that before. I will try to remember that.

[There are actually two ways to do it...We have a "preview" button...]

Whenever I hit that in Firefox a while back, it just posted the message. Never get a preview. No big deal, as you can edit it anyway, but that preview button does nothing in Firefox (PC and Mac). I just tried it on my PC laptop and it worked normally. Did you guys change something? I remember I had to shut javescript off to get on your website, I just realized I have it on in my laptop. Perhaps that's it. Nice to see I can get back on your site without having to turn javascript off every time.

[Phil Radelat] "...that preview button does nothing in Firefox (PC and Mac)."

I use Firefox exclusively -- well, except in the couple of sites wherein I *have* to use Safari -- and it works every time for me. I regularly use the preview button (and still get in a hurry and post typos). Lately, I have begun to feel that I need a "preview before I preview and read it out loud to me, too" button. That might help. In any case, I make good use of the "Edit my Post" button.

:o)

In my case I'm not sure there are any "local" resellers. Autodesk lists cdw.com as one of the options when I enter my zip code, along with a couple of other companies I called that focus on manufacturing and architecture. CDW doesn't seem to have the combustion upgrade yet.
