I'm having a new problem with combustion. Running it on Windows XP. When I start the app, it goes through its startup routine and opens the normal gray screen with a row of buttons and tools, but I have no menus at the top of the page (File, Edit, etc.). Combustion is the only application doing this. I have deleted the host.ini file already. I can open a new workspace with the Control-N command but still no menus.

I have also uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem's still there. Unless there's some file that didn't get deleted in the uninstall, this doesn't seem to be the fix.

???

Fixed the problem by deleting the Blackmagic Decklink drivers. Now I don't have a framebuffer, but I have menus again.

Probably so, but I don't have time to experiment today and I need menus more than framebuffer. This Decklink driver worked for a while so I'm not sure what happened.

Could it be that you have 2 or more displays (besides BM output)?

But I guess it's too late since you deleted settings anyway.

Just guessing,
Janis

No, just one display. I did check to make sure nothing was screwed up in the display settings of the computer, but everything was set correctly. And as I said it only happened with combustion.

These were the latest drivers from the decklink website. What version driver are you using?
