Disappearing layers when parenting
by Mark Epstein on Oct 24, 2006 at 10:23:47 am

Having tracked a still i would like to do some offsetting by parenting to a null object . So on a frame that I am totally happy with I set keyframe of 0 (ie no movement) to the null.As soon as I parent my object to it it disappears . When I look at the transform controls of the null and my object they all read 0 (default) which is correct , the opacity hasnt changed or anything yet it has vanished . Any ideas guys?

Have you tried to save your workspace before parenting, close and start Cmb again, and
parent your object after loading your project ?
We have this kind of behavior here from time to time, seems like a bug to me...

Hope this helps,
