outputing onto broadcast quality monitor
by rickyd on Jul 7, 2006 at 4:48:42 pm

Hello

I am looking for a card for a PC that outputs RGB (component) so i can plug a broadcast quality monitor into it for grading, does anyone know of any good cards?

Hi,

While the Decklink card will work you can also use your firewire connection to output to a broadcast monitor. Here is a link to a tips and tricks page that has a QuickTime movie showing exactly how to do it.

Download the "Framebuffer" video and watch this first and if this does not give you what you want I would also recommend the Decklink card.
