hey,
want to render in a renderfarm with irush. the shellrenderer starts and writes and all seems okay. But on each maschine i get the error if i have footage in my workspace:
two different errors, if the footage is linked like: "y:testtest.mov" i got : "cant find footage"
if the footage is linked like: "\iodellytesttest.mov" i got: "error loading footage"

[isotron]"if the footage is linked like: "\iodellytesttest.mov" i got: "error loading footage"
all maschine can acess y: or \iodelly"
i learned that i need to give read/write rights to every single folder where footage is located or should be stored. so, have a look if your folder "..test.."
have appropriate rights.

new situation, some rendermaschines find the footage! if i use "//iodell1/y/test/"
but only some.... will see what is different at these maschines who didnt find the footage......

how many machiens do you run for net-rendering?
there's this 10 machien limit from win xp pro above that you'd need a win server ...
but not quite sure about it - i'm not really into this kind of stuff.

have up to 30 maschines, works without a server.
found the problem. all source footage in the footage-control tab need a network directory like //server/y/test.mov
and the shellrenderer only work fine with a CWS file that has a standard dos syntax, only small letters without special charakters, the same to the directory where the cws file is placed.....
i think the shellrenderer never be updated since Combustion 1 :/
