Anyone know how to add grain to Paint only??

Just want to match grain on my painted strokes... especially where I used feathered edges....????

...copy the paint op -incl. the strokes- change the strokes to output as selection, add grain...
first idea wich came to my mind.

I would select the paint strokes that need the grain applied and group them. Select the group name > Operators > Grain Management > Add Grain. This will apply the grain to the group of paint strokes.
