can a viewport in combustion 4 be output via firewire to an analog NTSC source like a broadcast monitor, similar to after effects 6.5?

Hi there,
Yes a viewport can be Outputed via FireWire but You'll need a FireWire to Analog Converter for that you can use a DV Camcorder with in out DV regarding me i use the Canopus ADVC 100 it's a Bi directional COnverter ... and it works fine
Best Regards

Hi Again,
Go to File/Preferences Host/FrameBuffer FrameBuffer Type DV (Direct Show) and in the Options select your Device ... DV AVC And you're all set :o)
Quickcapture Can't work while FrameBuffer is on you have to disable FrameBuffer to use QuickCapture
Best Regards

...and I think you need the FW device connected and turned on so C* will see it when it launches.
