can't add tracker null to lens flare operator

Hey Guys
I have a great track with a null,I added a lens flare operator which is weak compared to Knolls and there is no provisions in lens flare to parent to the tracking null is there a work around. In short I have to track a lens flare to a moving point.thanks

in case this was a question:
a)copy and past the keyframes of your null object to the lense flare x/y center
or
b)use the (expression) quick link feature to connect the x/y position channel to the
x/y lense flare center
or
c)track the lense flare

you can't track a null object
