Hi I am using InDesign CS5

I have a photo that is text wrapped. But I would like to have text on top of that same photo that does not text wrap.

So I guess my question is how do I place text like a caption or quote on top of a picture that has text wrap on?

On the text box that you want to be the caption (ie. NOT wrap), you need to tell it to ignore text wrapping.

Select the text box and then go to the OBJECT menu and select TEXT FRAME OPTIONS. In the dialog box, check the box for IGNORE TEXT WRAP.

Should take care of it.
