Auto text resize - can it be done?

Hi,
I am trying to discover if there is a way to automatically get text within a text box to be resized (increased / descreased) using an option within Indesign CS3 (or plugin).
I am trying to automate this task (for a web app) so there can be no manual work involved. I understand that i can auto resize images to fit an image frame but I cannot find a way to do this with text.
If anyone can help or even point me in some direction it would be much apprecited.
