transfering files onto indesign layout but they're blurry!
by skye sverdlin on Jul 9, 2008 at 10:25:09 pm

I'm currently doing a magazine layout on Adobe Indesign CS3. Whenever I try to place an Adobe Photoshop layout or another CS3 layout onto the official magazine layout it comes out blurry. The original layouts are not blurry. All images are set at 300ppi and are on CMYK mode. I'm pretty sure that they're linked correctly. What else could I be doing wrong?
Thanks

Are they blurry only on screen or when you test print them as well?

If they are blurry on screen, go to View>Display Performance>High Quality Display. That's my guess. Regardless of what Display Performance setting you have, the images will be crisp once they are printed. It's just a way of saving working file space.
