 | Magic Bullet Looks - cannot exit fullscreen
by Peter Eichbar on Jul 8, 2011 at 2:59:13 pm |
I am using Magic Bullet Looks 2 and played around with the preferences, setting the display to Digital Cinema Desktop Preview in the preferences of the plugin. Now every time I open the plugin in Premiere there is a full-screen preview of the image but no tools, no menu, no way of getting back to the normal view with the tools. This renders the plugin useless of course.
I tried de-installing the application, deleting all preference files and re-installing it but the problem is still there.
I am using Premiere Pro CS5 as a host.

I did the exact same thing. Can't figure out how to reset it.

Have either of you guys figured this out? I did the same thing the other day and can't figure it out.

Just in case anyone stumbles across this. I'm on a mac and pressed command , to cycle through the windows and changed my external video monitoring from digital desktop to DVCPro (which I don't have) which caused the external video to not work. It's a work around but I'm back in business.

Yay! I was having the full screen problem for about 2 weeks before I stumbled across this thread (No one at Reg Giant had responded to my open ticket BTW -- I'm looking at you Red Giant).
Anyway the Command + Space Bar brings up Spotlight on my system instead of cycling though the windows, but I was able to see the Magic Bullet LooksBuilder Menu Tabs and go into preferences and change the Digital Cinema Display to DVCpro as suggested and it worked. I was also able to exit, re-enter LooksBuilder, and switch back to the digital cinema display and the full screen problem did not return.
Thanks!

Hey I realized after I posted that it's supposed to be [CMD ,] sorry if that wasn't clear. I did it a while ago. I'm not at that machine for a while but if you don't have any luck I will try it when I get back to it.

finally figured it out, needed to press cmd and the spacebar, this allowed me to change the settings as you described.
