I was wondering if anyone knew about this, While I was messing around with some footage on FCP, I noticed on my HD monitor which is connected via matroxmini expresscard that the outside edges of the picture are lopped off. Is this just the normal result of the broadcast signal? is there a way I can make the entire picture fit?

Hey Matthew
Check your monitor settings ... make sure you don't have overscan turned on, that would usually be the cause.
