Cannot open Premiere6.0/RT2500 Projects on different computer

Hello, every time I try to open an old projekt made with Premiere 6.0 and the RT 2500 on my newer computer using Premiere Pro 1.5 and RTX100 I get an error message like "not the correct media files" Obviously Premiere cannot link the avis and the wavs together. How can I fix that problem? I got a long term projekt and I hoped that I could transfer it to my new computer If only I buy the latest matrox card?!
