Q about MXO "presentation" mode
by Bob Roberts on Oct 22, 2007 at 6:41:44 pm

I'm interested in getting an MXO to work with my MacBook Pro. If I run the MXO in "presentation" mode I understand that the MXO will effectively pass my video signal directly to an attached DVI device (...in this case and Apple 23" Cinema Display).

I am assuming that this is an RGB signal getting to the monitor...which is fine because I just want to close the screen on my MBP and use the bigger monitor to work with Final Cut Pro.

My question is, if I do this, AND connect a Sony PVM monitor via component video will I get a YUV signal out to my broadcast screen or will I just get another RGB mirror?

Thanks in advance.
