Adobe CS3 and AXIO 3.1 Backward compatability
We are finally getting around to upgrading our AXIO machines. Any known problems with bringing CS2 - AXIO 2.0 projects and source files into CS3 - AXIO 3.1?

No source file compatibility problems that I have seen or heard about.
I have read of some users having trouble and it was suggested that it was due to opening a v2 project in CS3. The recommendation always given is to import old projects into a new CS3 project.
Of course I have not bothered to do that. Instead, I just open the old projects and go to work. Hasn't been a problem - yet.
One of the projects was very large and was therefore a problem child. Much less troublesome with CS3. Not perfectly behaved. But noticeably better.

Pat -
None that I know of with Axio.
Matrox changed the color correction function with RT.X2, however, so CS2 projects may need to be converted (and Matrox has written a utility for that purpose).

No problems that I had.
You'll find CS3 better with memory issues. There's also a few nifty features in it but Adobe spent most of their resources porting to the Mac.
Nevertheless they've finally cottoned on to the necessity for updates that deliver enhanced functionality. This is already happened and other(s) may well be on the way before CS4.
I think it's clear that Adobe takes the memory issue very seriously. It's the main reason preventing wider penetration in professional circles.
