AJ-HD1200

We are trying to solve a problem with our Panasonic AJ-HD1200 deck. Our sales rep told us that this deck can record closed captioning. Can anyone confirm? We have never been able to see the cationing from this deck.

Did you find a solution for this? I've encountered the same issue in out deck when recording 720p at 59.94Hz. If I look at the input and output signal with a Leader LV5700A, the input contains the eia708 packet on line 9, but the output does not. I'm wondering whether the deck is tossing the vanc data.

Hi Doug,
No we haven't had any luck on this deck. We are on the verge of selling this deck an getting the HD1400 instead. I have been trying to verify with our other sister stations that use this format to playback over air. They just havent had time to get to this test. I will let you know when i can get any info from that.
