HD Monitors for Color Correction

Hi All
Looking for an affordable HD monitoring solution for color correction.
I understand that there is no one solution that is cost effective. But Im looking in the 5,000 range.

the most popular monitors used by most post houses are the Panasonic BT-LH2600W, the JVC DT-V24L1D, and the Sony LDM-2450. These are in the price range that you are looking for, and are the most popular montiors for this application.
You will see others respond and say "they are crap, you need the eCinema, OmniTek," etc. , but these monitors are A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE, and they really don't look much better. None of these products compare to the old Sony CRT monitors, which are no longer manufacturered.
