D-20 Slow Motion

Hey, so I am just helping with a project and they have some D-20 to SRW-1 HDCAMSR tapes that they say are "slow motion". The rest of the footage was shot 23.98.

They say it is shot at 29.97 and there are 2 tracks of video that have to be "stitched" together.

First off, what does that mean? What do I need to do in offline to make sure I can carry this through online?

Hi,

My best guess would be that they want you to conform the 29.97 material to a 23.98 timebase, thereby slowing it down slightly. We did something similar for a music video that we shot on the D20. The offline/online workflow won't be that straightforward, I'm afraid. We just dealt with everything at online res.

No idea what they mean by stitching the two video tracks together. Sorry.
