HD editing???

do u need a special setup to edit HD footage? can i still import the footage via my firewire cable or do I need an HDMI cable to start transferring all that stuff?? just curious because if so, I need to have an HDMI input installed in my computer!

Firewire is fine for HDV.

it sounds as if you are a novice in Video and there are any number of problems and pitfalls

since there is not any info on what or how you want to work here- go to your NLE forum here and ask-

this is the high-end HD forum not HD 101.
