Velocity HD and DFX 5.02 + Renderslave

I have several problems with the above 'bundled' package. How they can come bundled is beyond me.
Velocity HD cannot key any gfx created in DFX+ cleanly, without a drop in luminance of the background video. Even in native LTV format.
Renderslave cannot network render LTV files. It cant read source frames in the correct order. This is with the target format set to any file format.
These three problems seem to point that the combined system is highly flawed. How swordfish ever got released is beyond me.
If anyone can help me with any of the above, then please do. What is going on?????
