Anyone creating HD-DVD or Blue Ray discs of their HD projects?
by Ray Palmer on May 7, 2007 at 1:05:22 am

I could post this question in a variety of forums, but I know that all of us are unhappy with SD DVDs of our HD projects.
Question-Have you had any success with making and showing HD-DVDs or Blue Ray discs? Are we there yet?

Latest Apple DVDSP 4.1 update seems to work with Toshiba HD-DVD players if they have the current firmware. 1080i MPEG2 files. About 20-25min. will fit on a standard DVD-R (4.7GB) disc.

Sincerely,
Oliver

I've made a few HD-DVD on DVD-R discs for a client.

They play them on aquos flat panels from a Toshiba HD-A1.

Works/looks great!
