using firewire on AJ HD 1200 deck to capture 1080P DVCPROHD?

Hi all,

Someone at Panavision told me that you can't capture 1080P DVCPROHD footage through firewire. He said you could only capture 1080 through SDI using a Decklink HD or Kona etc. He said that you could only capture 720 through firewire.I haven't found anything that confirms this on the net. Is this true???

As far as I can tell, the AJ HD1200 can't do 1080P over firewire, but it looks like it can do 1080I, according to panasonic's website.
