Monitoring in SD
by John Barnard on Feb 17, 2006 at 4:59:56 pm

Is anyone out there adapting an RGB signal out of, say, a SONY 700 HDCAM to S-video or composite video to be viewed on an SD monitor? Is it cheap? Is it possible?

OS 10.4.3
G5 1.8 single
Huge Mediavault
Atto ul4d2
final cut 5
Sony DSR-45
QT 7
Decklink drivers 5

I use a cheap astro downconverter - I paid $100 on ebay $300 with google that works fine from my Hdw700 for making dvcam copies for offline
