It will show 1920x1080 just fine. It is set for 1900x1200 so it loses a little on the sides (not so you'd notice). I've had the system on for about 4 years and replaced it twice under my tech support contract. The horizontal high voltage went bad one time and I don't remember what it was the other time. Since it is a monitor it handles what you tell it via direct wiring (RGB) or a converter box. For $200 bucks it's a good deal if it lasts a year ( a new one should ) although you'll probably spend money on some type of converter. A monitor supplier I spoke with last week mentioned the price may be going back up as a lot of people love it. It's not terribly accurate for color correction but as a working monitor it's fine.
