HD output from Decklink HDpro and HD link to Apple 23" CD

I just got in a new G5 dual2G 2GBRAM set up, I'm getting artifacts in my HD output to my Apple Cinema Display 23" from either the HD card or the HD link box ( thin 1 pixel black lines flashing intermittently on the left side of the screen in playback and when paused) . The artifacts are even worse in 10 BIT than in 8 BIT so I guess the setup is struggling to maintain the datarate it promised it could acheive. Is there anyone else experiencing this, perhaps I got some slightly faulty hardware. I'm also new to HD and this setup so it's likely I'm simply missing something.
any help would be great, if there are no suggestions i'm shipping the decklink stuff back to be replaced

are you using a RAID array. have you run the black magic speed tester on the raid array?

if you are running the uncompressed HD from your local sata drives (mac) you are not going to get the data rate need to view 8/10 bit uncompressed.

also are you using FCP HD or some other editing solution?

Blackmagic speed test fine, running from HUGE ultrascsi320 RAID, FCP HD and all other software have the same problem outputting via the card. Blackmagic are sending another card out

I had this problem also - do you have a CRT monitor as well, if so what happens on that?

I dont have a HD CRT monitor but in PAL output my Sony CRT is fine, but then again the output to the Apple Cinema display is fine in PAL too, which makes me think the card is not coping with the bitrate. Have you had any feedback from Blackmagic?
