Avid vs Final Cut

A friend of mine has Final Cut, and he has none of my issues with the software. It appears I purchased a dead horse.

Hey, what issues are you having?

I don't own FCP but I know that it is not a 100% problem free. Just check out the FCP forum. Go to forums.pinnaclesys.com/forum and try to get your answers there. There also are some tutorials that someone can point you to. I don't have them at this time. I do know there are some on youtube. Just search avid liquid tutorials.

Ok I did respond to one of your post about being out of sync. If this is the issues still with DVDs, work with some footage off of a cam to get familiar with Liquid. Trust me it is how the DVDs are recorded that is causing the out of sync issue. I just saw a dvd burned on the JVC recorder I get dvds from andthe AV was out of sync on a regular dvd player. Here is a link to some tutorials. Hope it helps. Also try youtube, cybraxcyberspace has made some intro into Liquid tutorials.
