How to stabilize jittery clip?

Is there a way in Liquid 7.2 to stabilize a clip? I have searched the foroum and have not found a thread dealing with this issue. Perhaps I did nit use the right words.

There is no motion stabilizer built into Liquid. The best one available is from ProDAD called Mercali. Very easy to use and very effective. The standard version is probably all you need and it is not very expensive. It works as a plugin to Liquid. You can download and buy it on line. You can try before you buy.

There is a so called stabelizer in Liquid. 7.2 but it has never worked for me.
