Hi All. Have been away since leaving Broadcast TV. Used FCP all that time. Still have it but need to learn Liquid. LOVE the COW!
Here goes... I need to blend video tracks using a composite mode similar to Photoshop or AE. FCP does this. Control click on clip, select Composite Mode, then ADD or Overlay etc. How do I do this in Liquid? I have Liquid 7.2

Thanks for responding Paul. No not quite to answer your question. I have on Track 1, a tree trunk screen left and leaves screen right. On track 2 I have an animation of money. I want to composite the money animation onto the track below so that animation blends into the leaves using one of several composite selections. In my case an overlay.
I don't see a composite choice for clips in Liquid.

[Paul Mitton]"PS. Could you tell us all how you like FCP compared to Liquid, and why are you wanting to learn Liquid now?"
I have been out of Broadcast Tv for 18 months. Did some freelance stuff until in Sept 07 I hooked up with this Indoor Video Marketing company. I cut a few ads (besides sales) on my Mac Powerbook using FCP Express. In my days at the TV station, I used FCP in a really nice suite I built. Anyhow...Avid Liquid has been the edit of choice. Since I have started most of the ads, the owner wanted me to cut on Liquid. I am too new to say it is better than FCP. What I know is that FCP ROCKS period. I do have experience with Avid Composer and very little of Symphony. But I will still choose FCP anytime. I do miss the integration of Motion and FCP. Liquid, at least for right now, can do the job. I can put pictures and sound together, add some fancy tricks and output to DVD. I guess that is what is important.
I will try what you suggest when I get back to the machine. Thanks for the help.
