gpu effects w green flicker

Hello,
I have found that when using a "gpu" effect in liquid 7 when rendered there are green lines flickering throughout the length of the effect.?. Does not do this with the "cpu" effects.
I am running a 2.2 amd, 3 gig ram , nvidia 8800gts xxx card.
Please help.

Do you have an nVidia 8xxx series video card? If yes, those will cause this issue and there is no workaround. A patch is in the works for this.

Where should I look for this patch? Nvidia site or avid?

There is no patch yet. It is being worked on in Munich. There is no ETA yet either. I will post here when it is available but that may not be any time soon. The best solution is to get an ATI 1950 Pro series card (or an earlier nVidia DX9 card) in the meantime.

The unfortunate thing is that there is no way to work around this problem with that card.

Dear Lew,

I have the same problem. When you say but "ETA of patch: that may not be any time soon" do you mean:
- a month, a quarter, half a year or a year or even more?
What's your experience or expectation?
