Does Liquid 6 has any problem with After Effects rendered files?
by Feediop on Mar 21, 2007 at 1:46:11 pm

I don't know if it's the software or something else, but I can't export (nor view) videos that had been edited and renderd with After Effects (when I try to export, Liquid gives me "export failed" error).

I should mention that if I export videos from AE using codecs then Liquid can read and export them, but I don't want to do that since it takes down alot of the quality..
Is there anything I an do?

Thanks,
Or

I am a little confused with your problem or explaination thereof.

you state, "but I can't export (nor view) videos that had been edited and renderd with After Effects"

How are you coming out of After Effects, what type of file are you sending? Quicktime, AVI, or other format? You are then importing this into Liquid, correct?

If so, how should this material from the Timeline be any different to export than anything else??

Or are you using X-Send and X-Recieve or. . . . ?

Regards,
Jeff

Jeff, I was finally able to afford/get After Effects. Looking at your comment I get the impression I do not want to export QT from AE if I plan on bringing that file into Liquid 7.2?
Thanks
